JOHN D. CHADWICK is Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for large
capitalization US stocks at Bessemer Group, Inc. He is also a member of
the Investment Policy Committee and the Asset Allocation Committee.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Chadwick was Senior Vice President and
Senior Portfolio Manager at Kidder Peabody and Co. where he managed
mutual funds, pension plans and individual accounts. His previous
experience includes serving as a Vice President and Senior Portfolio
Manager with Citibank, NA's Institutional Investment Division, Senior
Investment Analyst with Union Carbide Corp., Vice President of Finance
for Ocean Data System, and Vice President and Technology Group Head in
Bankers Trust Company's Investment Research Department. Mr. Chadwick
earned a BA in Economics from Harvard University in 1961, and in 1963 he
earned an MBA in Industrial Management from the Wharton School of
Finance and Commerce, University of Pennsylvania. He is a Chartered
