GENERAL (RETIRED) J.H. BINFORD PEAY, III is the Chairman, President and
Chief Executive Officer of Allied Research Corporation. He is
responsible for guiding Allied Research by developing worldwide growth
strategies, assembling a top management executive team and providing the
guidance that will maximize shareholder value. General Peay provides
leadership skills perfectly suited to position Allied Research on a
profitable growth track. He is experienced at the highest levels of
organizational management, is well grounded in acquisition analysis and
corporate governance, and has thorough knowledge of international
governments. He provides specific strengths in geopolitical working
relationships in areas of primary importance to Allied Research's
strategic marketing interests. His distinguished Army career included
assignments as Vice Chief of Staff, U.S. Army, and combat command of the
famed 101st Airborne Division during Operations Desert Shield and Desert
Storm. He retired in 1997 as Commander-in-Chief, United States Central
Command, with responsibility for operations in 20 countries throughout
Africa, the Middle East, Persian Gulf, and South Africa. He graduated
from the Virginia Military Institute in 1962 with a BS in Civil
Engineering and holds a Master of Arts from George Washington
