Christian A. Brickman has served on the board of directors of Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. since September 2012 and is the corporation’s President and Chief Executive Officer, a role he has held since February 2015. Prior to being appointed to his current role, Mr. Brickman served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the company from June 2014 to February 2015. Prior to joining Sally Beauty, Mr. Brickman served as President of Kimberly-Clark International from May 2012 to February 2014, where he led the corporation’s international consumer business in all operations. From August 2010 to May 2012, Mr. Brickman served as President of Kimberly-Clark Professional. From 2008 to 2010, he served as Chief Strategy Officer of Kimberly-Clark and played a key role in the development and implementation of Kimberly-Clark’s strategic plans and processes to enhance enterprise growth initiatives. Prior to joining Kimberly-Clark, Mr. Brickman was a Principal in McKinsey & Company’s Dallas, Texas, office and a leader in the firm’s consumer packaged goods and operations practices. Before joining McKinsey, Mr. Brickman was President and CEO of Whitlock Packaging, the largest noncarbonated beverage co-packing company in the United States, from 1998 to 2001. From 1994 to 1998, he was with Guinness/United Distillers, initially as Vice President of Strategic Planning for the Americas region and then as General Manager for Guinness Brewing Worldwide’s Latin America region. Mr. Brickman was awarded an advanced bachelor’s degree in economics in 1986 from Occidental College in Los Angeles, where he graduated with honors, Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude. Profile
