TWST: Can you give us a brief overview of RM including the company’s history, products and services for those not familiar with you?

Mr. Hemmings: RM is a UK publicly quoted company. We serve the education market in the UK, principally supplying to schools – which in UK terms is from age 5 to age 18. We provide them information technology software, services and systems. We are the leading company in that field in the UK, we have been involved in that business since 1977, and in our most recent financial year the company’s turnover was 200 plus million pounds sterling. We have lead market share by quite a considerable degree and UK education continues to be our target market for the foreseeable future.

TWST: Do mainly schools register online and order the products?

Mr. Hemmings: Somewhere in the region of about 85 percent of the group’s revenues come from schools. Those revenues are transacted in a number of different ways, but primarily through a telephone and field sales force dealing directly with people in schools. We do a reasonable amount of our business over the Internet as well. The products and services that we offer are very wide ranging – they range from online information services, information products that you can consume from the web all the way to PC hardware, notebook computers, networking components and so on. We provide all of the information technology a school might want to buy from us.

TWST: Can other people buy from you?

Mr. Hemmings: We do not actively try and sell to anybody else. We would not stop somebody from buying from us, but 99 percent of our customers are educational establishments: schools, colleges, universities.

TWST: Do the schools have to register on your website beforehand?

Mr. Hemmings: No. Most of our customers we have dealt with on a regular basis for many years - certainly prior to the days when we had a website. The website is there as another form of marketing and selling, and for providing information for them.
