Equitable (NYSE:EQT) is positioned for growth, in the opinion of this sell sider.

“Equitable is a little company that operated around $2 in earnings for about a decade, and in the last stage of that they actually had no president and were working under an interim CEO. They hired new guys about 18 months ago, and these guys have done a terrific job of establishing what the base business should be, of cutting costs, of beginning to build a platform for growth. They've done a terrific job of turning the company around, and they are beginning to build the earning power to the point where they should be able to earn over $3, which is a major, major turnaround. So the new management has done an excellent job of positioning Equitable for growth.”
