Mark Allin became the 12th President and Chief Executive Officer of John Wiley & Sons, Inc., in June 2015. Mr. Allin joined Wiley with the 2000 acquisition of Capstone Publishing, which he co-founded, after holding numerous senior positions at Blackwell Publishing, Simon & Schuster and Pearson. In 2003, he became Vice President and Managing Director, Wiley Asia before being promoted to Executive Vice President, Professional Development in 2010, and then Chief Operating Officer in 2015.
