Mark Slaughter, CEO and President, leads RigNet, Inc.'s global business and serves as a member of RigNet's board of directors. He has more than 30 years of experience in the energy, telecommunications and remote communications industries, having served in executive and management roles at Halliburton Company, Reliant Energy, United Technologies and Stratos Global Corporation. He serves on the board of Boys and Girls Country of Houston, a Christian home for children from families in crisis. Named a 2009 finalist for Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Houston and Gulf Coast Area, Mr. Slaughter also attended United Technologies' Executive Program at the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business, as well as Stanford Law School’s Directors’ College.
